How to Get from Belgrade Airport to the City Center (Taxi Voucher or Bus)
Welcome to Belgrade! Here’s how you can get from Nikola Tesla Airport to the city center:
By Taxi (Voucher System)
Belgrade Airport uses a fixed-price taxi voucher system to prevent overcharging.
- After collecting your luggage, go to the Taxi Info Desk located in the arrivals hall (right after customs).
- Tell the staff your destination (e.g. city center, hotel name, street).
- You will receive a taxi voucher with a fixed price, depending on the zone.
- Zone 1 (city center): Approx. 3,000 RSD (~25–27 EUR).
- Take the voucher and go to the official taxi line outside the terminal.
- Hand the voucher to the taxi driver before the ride starts.
- Do not negotiate the price—the voucher guarantees the fare.
Only use taxis with the voucher! Avoid drivers who approach you inside the terminal.
By Bus (Public Transportation)
There are two main bus options:
A1 Mini Bus (Express to Slavija Square)
- Route: Airport → Fontana → Slavija Square (city center).
- Frequency: Every 20–30 minutes.
- Duration: ~30 minutes (depends on traffic).
- Ticket: 400 RSD (~3.5 EUR), buy from the driver (cash only).
Bus Line 72 (Public Bus to Zeleni Venac)
- Route: Airport → Zeleni Venac (central bus station).
- Frequency: Every 30 minutes.
- Duration: ~45–60 minutes.
- Ticket: 150 RSD with contactless card or cash on kiosk (must buy ticket before boarding).
- Bus uses public transport card system, not ideal for short stays.
Tips:
